What we collect

Account information. When you request a trial key or subscribe, we collect your email address, your plan tier, and payment status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Analysis content. The AI answers and evidence documents you submit are processed to produce your analysis. Content is transmitted to our model provider under their API terms to perform the analysis; we do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.

Usage metadata. We log operational metadata — request timestamps, input sizes, claim counts, result summaries, error states, and a one-way hash used for rate limiting. Server logs are used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use your submitted content for advertising or model training.
• We do not require an account for free anonymous analyses.

Cookies and analytics

The service uses only what is necessary for operation (such as remembering your API key in your own browser's storage if you choose to save it). Our infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare) may process technical request data to deliver and protect the service.

Retention

Account records are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Operational logs are retained on a rolling basis. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors to operate MissingProof: cloud hosting, Cloudflare (delivery and security), Stripe (payments), an email delivery provider (transactional email), and AI model providers (analysis processing). Each receives only what is necessary for its function.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected] from your account email. We respond to all requests within 30 days. Depending on your jurisdiction (including Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and applicable US state laws), you may have additional rights, which we honor.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting account holders will be announced by email.
