MissingProof

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does MissingProof detect?

Unsupported claims in AI-generated text, checked against source documents you provide: facts with no supporting passage, reasoning links (causal, attributive, logical) not stated in or entailed by your sources, certainty stated beyond what sources support, precision your sources never contained, and claims your sources contradict. Each flagged claim comes with a failure locus and, where fixable, the exact missing evidence.

What do I paste in?

Two things: the AI answer you want verified, and the source material it should be grounded in — retrieved context from your RAG system, a policy document, a report, meeting notes. Plain text works best. Paid plans add file uploads and API access so verification runs inside your pipeline.

How accurate is it?

The verification architecture was developed under pre-registered, sealed-prediction testing — including controlled comparisons against standard entailment baselines — before launch. In production it uses a large language model judge under a strict verification protocol. Like any automated verifier it is an aid to judgment, not a substitute: quoted evidence spans are shown precisely so you can confirm every verdict yourself in seconds.

Is my content stored or used for training?

Your pasted content is processed to produce the analysis and is sent to our model provider under their API terms; we do not use your content to train models. Our own logs record usage metadata — sizes, timings, claim counts — for operating the service, not your document text.

What are the limits and plans?

Anonymous: 3 analyses/day. Free trial (email signup, no card): 25 analyses over 14 days. Starter $49/month: 500 analyses, file uploads. Pro $199/month: 3,000 analyses, uploads, API access. Subscriptions are managed and cancellable anytime through the Stripe customer portal — no emails required to cancel.

Do you have an API?

Yes — Pro plans include API access: the same analysis endpoint the site uses, authenticated with your key, so verification runs as a step in your pipeline or CI. Documentation is provided with your key.

How do I get support?

Email [email protected] from your account email, and include your API key prefix if you have one — it lets us see your account's usage and errors immediately and answer specifically rather than generically.

Who makes MissingProof?

MissingProof is a Nozaro Inc. product, built on verification research developed and tested through 2026. It exists because the standard answer to AI hallucination — a score — tells you something is wrong without telling you what's missing.
